Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas
Founded in 1970, Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas is the heir of the former Faculté De Droit Et De Sciences Economiques de Paris since the 13th century.
Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas is nationally and internationally recognized as one of the top French universities in law and the social sciences, by far the most reputable in Law.
The University is committed to ensuring the highest level of excellence, with respect to all fields of private law and criminal science, public law, political science, roman law and history of the law, economics, management science, information and communication science.
In 2009, Université Paris II Pantheon-Assas decided to launch an ambitious internationalisation program, notably through the creation of several campuses, branded “Sorbonne-Assas International Law School”, throughout the world: Singapore, Mauritius, Bogota and Sharjah.
Our ambition in Mauritius is to provide high level training in international and European business law and to develop a benchmark platform in continental legal training in Africa and a dynamic forum for exchange with the legal and business world.
